The majority of this site is designed to supply tools for webmasters and bloggers to use on their websites or blogs (or both). This page is designed for people who want to earn money but do not have a website or blog. However if you do already have a website or blog, don't skip this page, as you can use it to learn about additional ways to make money.

I have listed several good ideas below, most will cost you nothing to try. But before you try any of these methods, you will need to get the link code from the book(s) you want to publicise and your affiliate code. Go back to the main page for details on how to get these.

One thing that is probably going to be a disappointment to most of you is this: I am only going to give you ideas on how to make money, I am not going to give you links to the sites you can use. This is because there are thousands of sites you can use for most of the ideas I suggest. I cannot list them all, and if I list a few, most people will use the ones that I suggest and they will get flooded. Each one only has a finite number of possible customers, and if we are all using the same ones we will be fighting each other for custom, with the result that we will all make less money. You will make more money if you use Google/Yahoo/Bing etc to find the sites to use, rather than using any list that I use. A lot of sites also swap links, so once you have found a few you can also use their "Our Friend's Sites" to find more.

MESSAGE BOARDS
Unless you are new to computing you will have some experience on message boards (forums). Some of you will use them a lot, some rarely (or never), but most people use them occasionally. Most boards allow you to set up an electronic signature to put on the ends of all your posts. Many allow you to include a link in this signature. Where it is allowed, you can use this to link to one of the books, with your affiliate code in it. Then when people read your posts they see your advert, some will click through and buy the book.

Just a few words of advice though:
  1. Make sure they allow you to put adverts in your signature, you don't want to get banned.
  2. The more you post, the more your ad will be seen, so you will want to post loads. But make sure that your posts serve a purpose. If moderators feel that your posts are pointless and just there to give you a chance to show your signature, they will ban you.
  3. If you are advertising adult goods, you can only ever put an ad for an adult item on boards which are aimed at adults or have a "no members under 18" rule.
  4. Keep your advert in the signature, don't put it in the body of the post, or you are liable to get banned.
  5. Change your signature from time to time, advertise different books. Remember, although new people will be joining the boards all the time, you will find that the majority of members keep coming back. You cannot sell them the same book over and over again, but you can keep selling them new books.

SPAM BOARDS
In order to stop members posting topics that are just thinly disguised adverts, most boards also have a spam board. This is a board where the entire post (not just the signature) can be an advert. Feel free to go wild on those boards, but do read their rules first, and stick to them. Spam boards can be a good source of income (yes, there are plenty of people bored enough to read the spam boards by choice).

COMMENTS IN BLOGS
OK, before I start, I do NOT mean that you should post adverts as comments. Doing this is not only a waste of time, as 99% of blog owners will block or delete people who do this, but it can also get you banned from a whole load of blogs. However many blogs allow you to link your name to your website. So when you post a comment you can use a link to a book. A few pointers if you intend to try this:
  1. Don't expect an enormous amount of traffic to come this way, only a few people ever click on the names.
  2. Choose a name that hints at what you are trying to sell. For example, if you are pushing one of my bondage books, the name "Women Enslaver" will get you more clicks than "Pete74".
  3. There are a hell of a lot of adult blogs for every genre, you will get the best results if your link goes to an appropriate eBook (eg if it is a bondage blog, comment in bondage books, if it is a lesbian blog, comment in lesbian books, etc...).
  4. The more you comment, the more your link will be seen, so you will want to comment loads. But make sure that your comments serve a purpose. If the moderator thinks that your comments are pointless and just there to give you a chance to show your link, they will ban you.
  5. If you are advertising adult goods, you can only ever put a link for an adult item on blogs which are aimed at adults or have a "no members under 18" rule.

SOCIAL NETWORKING
The majority of social networking sites do not allow advertising, and the majority of the few that allow advertising do not allow advertising for adult merchandising. But there are a small number that not only allow advertising, they also allow adult advertising. Search them out, read their rules, and start using them to make money.

ADULT SOCIAL NETWORKING
Basically the same as social networking groups, but they specialise in "adult" matters.

NEWS GROUPS
Many many years ago when the Internet was young and I was, well, not exactly young, but younger than I am now, we used to communicate via bulletin boards (BBS). Over the years those morphed into web boards (forums), which I mentioned above, and news groups. News groups are like enormous message boards, but instead of reading them on a web page you need a news reader. However before you skip over this section because you don't want to buy or download new software, you almost definitely have news reader software on your computer. This is because it is usually bundled with your email reader (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc). Take a look at whatever software you use to read your emails on (assuming you don't just use web mail), you will find a setting for news groups. And if you do only use web mail, you can download Thunderbird for free!

Even though you no doubt already have the software, you may not have a connection to the news groups (although you probably do). Because although news groups come via the Internet, they do not come via the web (yes, they are different - the world wide web [WWW] just supplies web pages, the Internet supplies, among other things, the WWW, email, and news groups), nor does it come via email. The reason I said "you may not have a connection to the news groups (although you probably do)" is that the better ISPs (the company that connects you to the Internet) supply a connection to news groups, but not all of them do. Check your ISP's documentation or their website (or ask them directly). And do be aware that they will not give you connection to all news groups, because there are news groups on almost every subject, even the most extreme things, and even some on illegal things. For example if you like puppies, there are groups on dogs, if you like knitting woolly jumpers, there are groups on knitting. But at the other end of the scale, if you feel that anyone with a different coloured skin to you should be killed, or if you like sexually molesting five year olds, you can find a group to suit you too!!!! As a rule your ISP will not only block the latter type of group, they will also block the extreme ends on the porn scale. I say, "as a rule", because some allow the more extreme groups. When looking for "bondage" groups on an ISP I used to use, I once found several groups for people who enjoyed abducting women for sexual purposes. But then, that ISP was owned by Richard Branston, who is a cunt, and does not care who he fucks over to make money.

Now although you don't want the extreme end of the spectrum, unless your ISP is very liberal they may also block several of the porn groups that you want. The way to find out is to connect up and see what they offer. You cannot look at each one individually (or rather you can, but there are so many it will take you months, possibly years, to go through the lot). However you will find that whatever software you are using will throw up a search box that will let you search for groups with your choice of words in it. For example, if you are looking for bondage groups type in bondage and see what comes up. But note that most only search in the titles so you will have to try all appropriate words (for example, for bondage you will want to try both bondage and BDSM, possibly torture, and maybe even the 'R' word). Try each word individually, unlike search engines they tend to search for "all" rather than "any" (i.e. searching "bondage BDSM" will only get you groups that contain both the word "bondage" and the word "BDSM", if the group just contains one of these words, it will skip it).

If your ISP gives you enough groups suitable for whatever books you want to push, then great, you are ready to go. If not, then there are loads of other companies that will give you access. But before you sign on the dotted line there are a few things you should know.
  1. The prices they charge vary considerably, a few are even free. Higher prices do not always mean a better service, so look around.
  2. Some offer a large download limit for a higher fee. You do not need this to post, only if you intend to download excessively large quantities of stuff while you are there.
  3. Some are "download only", that is no good to you, you need to be able to post as well.
  4. Some limit the that groups you can access, check that they offer most legal groups before signing up.
  5. Some offer plenty of help and advice, and are ideal for the beginner. Some offer no help and just assume you know it all. Choose what type you want depending on your knowledge and ability.

Having said all that, there is an easier method. Google, MSN, and Yahoo all used to offer free access to many news groups, and web access too (i.e you do not need a news browser). So why did I not tell you this before? Four reasons. Firstly, it is many years since I used them for news groups, and I'm not sure if all of them still offer this service. Secondly, I am guessing that respectable companies like these will limit the number of adult groups they use. Thirdly, to research this article I went into my Google account to see if they still offered this service. They do, but it is hard to work out which are Google groups and which are news groups, and the search function is about as much use as closing your eyes and sticking a pin in a list (amazing, considering that Google is primarily a search engine). And fourthly, none of these companies are known for offering helpful advice or any form of support, and since you would not be using them if you were already a news group master, you probably want to try a company that is more helpful to the newbie. However, you could take a looksee, it won't cost anything and it might be what you need.

Now once you have got yourself a connection to the world of news groups how do you use them to make money? Well several ways:

Many groups allow you to post adverts, so on these groups you can simply post something like "I have just read this great eBook it is all about......and you can buy it at..." However not all allow this (and if you post adverts where it is not allowed, you could get banned). Also, direct advertising is not the most effective method of pulling in the customers.

If the group does not allow advertising:

You can use the "post something and set up a signature with an advert in it" method in the same way as you would on web boards (you set up your signature in your news reader software - Outlook, Firefox, etc).

You could post appropriate stories, and add a link at the end (e.g. write a short bondage story, end with a link to a bondage eBook).

Some news groups allow you to post pictures, you can use the photos I supply to advertise these books if you like. Post the photo and put a link in the email to the book (obviously with your affiliate code attached). You can even add the link to the actual photo if you want (if you have the appropriate image manipulation software), but note that the only link you can add is to the book (obviously with your own affiliate code attached).

You may be wondering how much traffic this generates. Well it varies from group to group. However, as an example, when I used this method to push one of my bondage websites, and posted on ALL the bondage related groups - all those aimed at bondage, BDSM, or torture(sexual), I got a bit over a thousand surfers in the following five days. But do note that a surfer visiting a site is not the same as a sale, most just won't buy anything.

GROUPS
I mentioned Google Groups as a method of getting into news groups. Remember, you can also use the actual Google Groups (and MSN groups, Yahoo groups, etc, if they still exist) to push the books. But do read their rules on posting first, you don't want to get banned.

FREE AD SITES
There are thousands (literally thousands) of free ad sites on the Internet. I'm not talking about "Craig's List" type sites, but sites where you add an advert for your website for free. Instead of advertising your website, you can advertise one of the eBooks.

FREE ARTICLE SITES
There are sites on the Internet where you can add your own article or story, and include links in it. Some of these just publish your article on their own site, others allow other webmasters to use the articles on their sites. Either way your link stays in the article/story. Most do not allow adult material, but a few will allow it. Also, there are several sites that specialise in adult material. Write stories for either type and include a link to one of the books, and let them make money for you.

Although check the rules, there are also plenty of sites that do NOT allow you to add links, and if you submit to them they will simply strim the link out of your article and you will have wasted your time.

LEAFLETS
All the above ideas cost you nothing, this one is a bit more expensive.

You can have leaflets printed up with adverts for the books on them (and links containing your affiliate code).

MAGAZINE/NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING
Self explanatory, but can be expensive.

SET UP A BLOG
I know I said that this page was for people without a website or blog, but why not start one. There are several companies who will allow you to set up an adult blog and add adverts to it. You can make good money this way, I know a lot of people who do, and most companies make it so simple that you don't need any site designing knowledge, you simply need to be able to type. Blogs can be the most effective way of making money on the Internet, certainly the best method mentioned on this page. So give it a go, you genuinely can make a darn good living at it. And you can use our blog feed if you want, go back to the main page and follow the link to that page for details.

USE MY BLOG
If you look at the page headed "blog feed" you will see that I now have a "free hosted" version that you can use without setting up your own site. However do note that you will still have to promote the site (possibly by using some of the above methods).

POSTSCRIPT
Well that is about the lot. With the exception of the last three items you can try all of these for free, and you can make bloody good money at it. So what are you waiting for? Start getting rich today.
